Steven is an independent filmmaker whose love for movies dates back to his childhood. In July, Steven held the first screening of his full-length horror film entitled "The Director's Cut," which he wrote, produced, directed and edited. Inspired in part by the style of movies like "Clerks" from Kevin Smith, "The Director's Cut" is a hangout murder mystery set in a video store.
In this episode, Steven talks with Mike about his early love for film and cinema, being inspired to pursue film after watching the special features of Zach Braff's "Garden State," their shared love for horror movies, making "The Director's Cut," persevering as an independent filmmaker, the lessons he's learned along the way, and more.

Based in Texas, Stoneside. is an alternative/progressive metal band whose music is dedicated to telling the stories of the deceased to ensure they are not forgotten. In 2021, Stoneside. released their debut album entitled The Water, which was followed by the release of their sophomore record The Desert this June.
In this episode, Crane speaks with Mike about how the difficulties he faced in childhood and his teens drew him to heavy music, the positive influence of his Grandma, finding meaning in sharing the stories of the dead with Stoneside.'s music, persevering through trauma, and more.

Hailing from London, England, Allie is a country singer and creative who's been surrounded by music and entertainment since she was a child. Coming from a creative family of actors, musicians, singers and dancers, Allie started performing at a young age.
In the years since her first leading lady role as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, Allie has continued her creative pursuits on multiple fronts. From musical theater, to attending drama school, scripting short films and plays, and even writing a science fiction novel, she's explored multiple avenues over the years.
That said, Allie's love for country music has led her on her current path as an emerging country artist. She's released two singles since 2020 - "Never Beat Again" and "Hair of the Dog" - both of which have accompanying music videos and highlight her storytelling ability and authentic voice. Each single has amassed more than 30,000 streams on Spotify, while the music videos have also done well (57k YouTube views for "Never Beat Again;" 18k YouTube views for "Hair of the Dog").
In this episode, Allie talks with me about growing up performing in London with a creative and supportive family, the positive impact and influence of her mother, her love of country music and storytelling, her science fiction novel, working at the renowned FH Block and Ealing Studios in London, and more.

Based out of Phoenix, Arizona, The Free Boyz is a music group comprised of Kirsin (aka Young Lennon), Brix, and MrSuperNintendo. Rooted in hip hop, The Free Boyz have a diverse sound which ranges from elements of indie pop rock ("Bother Me"), to dance vibes ("Last Night"), introspective vibes ("02172020"), and summer jams ("MOCEAN"). Their latest single is "Fore I Leave," which was produced by MrSuperNintendo.
In addition to their music, The Free Boyz also have a podcast entitled Free Ain't Free, where the guys discuss anything and everything and do so with a heavy dose of humor.

Hailing from Toledo, Ohio, Pat is a tattoo artist (Lake Erie Studio) and musician who plays guitar and does vocals in the death metal band Mutilatred. On May 13th, Mutilatred dropped their latest LP entitled Determined to Rot via Redefining Darkness Records. The cover art for the record was painted by Pat, who received his Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art from the University of Toledo.
In this episode, Pat talks with Mike about his love for drawing and heavy music starting at a young age, sharpening his artistic ability and learning from renowned professor Diana Attie while attending UT, Mutilatred's latest album Determined to Rot, getting the opportunity to tour with The Black Dahlia Murder, memories of the late Trevor Strnad, and more.

Hailing from Mike's hometown of Toledo, Ohio, Ryan (vocals, drums, producer) and Tropic Bombs stormed onto the local music scene back in 2011. They quickly built a dedicated fan base with their high-energy live shows and fusion of rock, reggae and hip-hop. Tropic Bombs released their debut LP Nuclear Honeymoon in 2012, EP Return to Bomber Bay in 2014, and several singles in the years since.
