Monday Oct 24, 2022
On this episode of March Forth with Mike Bauman, Mike chats with Steven Aripez and Dylan Baumgartner!
Steven is an independent filmmaker whose love for movies dates back to his childhood. In July, Steven held the first screening of his full-length horror film entitled "The Director's Cut," which he wrote, produced, directed and edited. In 2021 alone, Dylan's band Slingshot released their album entitled The Straw Man, which was followed by the release of his short film entitled Me & You, in addition to Fall and Summer issues of his Reelverse Magazine.
That creative output has continued in 2022 for Dylan. He did the score for "The Director's Cut," produced Keith Allen's debut EP Floral Words (released 4/22/22), put out the Fall 2022 issue of Reelverse Magazine in September, and most recently released "The Last Straw" Live Session EP for his band Slingshot on October 22nd.
In this episode, Mike geeks out on all things horror with Steven and Dylan! From their earliest memories with horror, to their favorite horror movies and shows, recommendations, and more, the three discuss what they love about the genre in honor of Halloween.
