Comprised of Gonzalez (vocals, guitar), Carlos Garza (drums) and Philip Baugh (bass), Lost at Sea is a rock band from Dallas, Texas. With lyrics and a sound that deal in part with finding hope even when you're lost, the band is set to release its debut LP Motion Sickness in April with Revival Recordings. To get fans ready, Lost at Sea dropped the track "On My Own" in October 2020, followed by its latest single "Collider" on January 29th.
On this episode, Aaron chats with Mike about how he got into guitar and singing, his early days performing live, persevering through some tough times in his 20's, the meaning behind Lost at Sea's sound and name, the band's forthcoming album Motion Sickness, and more.

Comprised of Lowery (guitar), John Connolly (guitar), Lajon Witherspoon (vocals), Vinnie Hornsby (bass) and Morgan Rose (drums), Sevendust has sold more than 3 million albums globally since their self-titled debut in 1997, including 4 Gold records. This past October, they released their 13th studio album entitled Blood & Stone. Produced by Michael "Elvis" Baskette, Blood & Stone landed on numerous Billboard charts, including #1 Hard Music, #1 Top Albums ADA, #4 Independent, #5 Rock and #9 Top Billboard Albums, among others.
Additionally, Clint released his first solo record under his name in January 2020 entitled God Bless The Renegades. In June 2020, he dropped a surprise solo EP entitled Grief & Distance as a way to process the loss of his mother, who passed away in March 2020. He also contributed to Morgan's debut solo EP Controlled Chaos, which came out in November 2020.

Comprised of Rosenfeld (lead guitar), Jared Harper (lead vocals), Brandon Brantley (bass) and Jon Keeney (drums), Bury the Darkness is a metalcore band from Phoenix, Arizona that burst onto the scene in 2020. Their debut single "Break Me" had over 10,000 Spotify streams within weeks of its June 2020 release, and is now closing in on 110,000 streams. On 12/11/20, Bury the Darkness dropped its second single entitled "Gone But Not Forgotten," which features fellow rising Arizona outfit Dropout Kings. As of dropping this episode, "Gone But Not Forgotten" had over 16,700 Spotify streams.
In this episode, Marc chats with Mike about his love for music and the guitar, including persevering through some personal losses and joining Bury the Darkness. The pair also discuss the formation of Bury the Darkness, Marc using marketing strategies to help grow the band's audience during the pandemic, the music theory background of the band, working with producer Frankie Ghiloni, collaborating with the guys in Dropout Kings, and more.

Hailing from Mike's hometown of Toledo, Ohio, Tropic Bombs stormed onto the local music scene back in 2011, quickly building a dedicated fan base with their high-energy live shows and fusion of rock, reggae and hip-hop. They released their debut LP Nuclear Honeymoon in 2012, EP Return to Bomber Bay in 2014, and several singles in the years since. The latest of those singles is "Reignite," which dropped in August alongside a music video featuring cinematography/editing by Kyal Randolph.
With a friendship that goes back nearly a decade, Mike and Ryan talk on this podcast about how Tropic Bombs and the Toledo music scene is persevering through this pandemic, the band's cool partnership with Leesta Vall Sound Recordings, some of Ryan's favorite albums, and more.
This episode also features Tropic Bombs' metal version of their song "Light the Way" that they recorded as part of their partnership with Leesta Vall. This version of the song includes a special tribute to the late McKenzie Bell, Ryan's friend and former He Is Legend guitarist.

Execution Day is a metalcore band from Berlin, Pennsylvania, just outside of Pittsburgh. Since the band's formation, Execution Day has built up a following which continues to grow. Their 2017 cover of Logic's "1-800-273-8255" has amassed over 742,000 streams on Spotify. In August, Execution Day released their latest EP, Illusions, which has topped 300,000 streams and counting on Spotify.

Fusing together Rap and Rock, St. Louis' own Discrepancies have steadily grown a loyal following since the release of their debut single "Get Hype" in 2014 and self-titled EP that same year. In 2018, they signed with InVogue Records and released their debut LP The Awakening. From anthemic tracks like "Raising the Bar," "Rock the Show" and the remastered "Get Hype," to the motivating nature of "Not Alone" and "Keep Hope Alive," to the hard-hitting lyrics from ATG in "Wake Up," The Awakening had over a million streams in the first week of its release. The band also brings that same energy to their YouTube channel, where they continue to put out both creative music videos and behind the scenes footage.
Antonio (vocals) and Zach (drums) talk with Mike about their first live performances, the St. Louis music scene, how Discrepancies came together, building a fan base, and getting signed by InVogue Records.
