Originally from Southern California, the Utah-based UA The Duo is a hip hop tandem of brothers Wallace and Slow-Mo. Together since 2014, UA The Duo have lived up to the ambition in their name (UA is short for "Underground Ambitionz") with their releases over the years.
From collaborations with the likes of Crunchy Black, Skippa Da Flippa, songwriter SPEAKZ and XXL Freshman Jarren Benton, to their 2020 album Bud Brothaz, to numerous singles and music videos, UA The Duo has put in the work over the past seven years as an underground force to be reckoned with. The pair has shown no signs of slowing down in 2021, either. In September 2021 alone, UA The Duo dropped four new singles with four new music videos.
In this episode of the podcast, Wally and Slow-Mo of UA The Duo talk to Mike about their musical lineage, how they got into rap, the wide variety of their influences, Wally's inspiring trip to Mexico City, their trip to Chicago to collaborate with the aforementioned Crunchy Black on "Kodak," and more.

A native of Jackson, Mississippi, RA The Artist is an LA-based rapper, actor and producer. A former athlete and U.S. Army Veteran, RA The Artist's music career started back in 2008, but it was difficult for him to create while being active duty in the Army.
This year, RA The Artist has been on his grind musically, having released three singles since February. Each song has a different vibe which showcases his versatility behind the mic, the latest of which is "Show Me" with Mr. Fully.
In this conversation, RA The Artist speaks with Mike about what it was like growing up in Jackson, his days as an athlete and his decision to join the Army, not giving up, collaborating with his wife and fellow artist Goddess KJO, and more.

Hailing from West Philadelphia, King Shampz is a hip hop artist and CEO of Dead Wrong Records, a label which he started with his brother and producer Azzan. In December 2020, they dropped the LP Dawn of the Dead on the Dead Wrong Records imprint, which also features DJ Wreck 1, Frio, Rxdiio Rxh, Def Soulja, Pretty Bulli and Blak.

Rounded out by Chase Papariello (co-vocals), Robbie Litchfield (guitar), Kenjamin Smiertelny (bass) and Sam Whelton (drums), Saving Vice is a metalcore band from Vermont that started in 2017. Over the years, they've played festivals like Warped Tour, the iMatter Festival and Heavy Fest.
Last year, Saving Vice followed up their 2018 EP Colder Than Dark with their debut LP Hello There. In July, they dropped their latest single "Phantom Pain," which is closing in on 70,000 Spotify streams less than two months after its release. Additionally, the accompanying music video for "Phantom Pain" has amassed nearly 254,000 YouTube views.
In this conversation, Tyler speaks with Mike about the success of "Phantom Pain," the intricacies and references in Saving Vice's songs, battling through the pandemic, dealing with anxiety, music as an outlet, and more.

Based in Arizona, Graymind is a diverse musician whose sound can best be described as cinematic alternative hip-hop. Blending instruments such as guitar and piano into the beats of his music, Graymind has released four singles since November, 2020. The latest of those singles is July's "Drift," which tackles the feeling of losing the connection with somebody close to you as they become consumed by the pull of social media.
In this episode of the podcast, Graymind talks with Mike about his early love of music, including learning to play the piano and guitar, his affinity for movie soundtracks and Metallica, getting into the alternative hip hop scene, finding his voice, persevering through serious health issues to get where he is today, and more.

A wrestler based out of Georgia, Randy Reno originally hails from the Reno/Las Vegas, Nevada area. After starting out as a referee in Face 2 Face Wrestling, Randy trained and eventually got the opportunity to wrestle. He went on to become the CWFG Passion of Wrestling Champion and the longest holder of the World Heavyweight Title in Face 2 Face Wrestling history, in addition to other titles across Georgia and the South.
