Based in NYC, Ali is a singer-songwriter who has been playing piano since she was a child. After giving up on music in college, Ali decided to kickstart her music dreams following the deaths of a coworker and her high school music teacher Joe Carbone during the pandemic.
A big step towards that musical dream was her debut EP LUS!D, which just released on April 8th. The five-track EP shows off Ali's melodic and songwriting abilities as she gives listeners an honest take on her dating experiences with men. It's an authentic listen from front-to-back that's already catching the attention of pop-punk and emo fans.
In this conversation, Ali speaks with Mike about how she got into music and the piano at a young age, the impetus behind her chasing her music dreams during the pandemic, connecting with producer Matt Squire, LUS!D, the abuse and mental health issues she's endured, and more.

Known as The Cowboy Drummer on his social media platforms, Lana is a drummer from Rochester, New York who has amassed a large online following over the past few years.
From drum covers across multiple genres, to humorous clips and behind the scenes videos, Lana's consistent work on TikTok and his other social media platforms has grown so much in recent years that it reached the likes of Tommy Lee. Lana's drum cover of Dropout Kings caught the band's attention, and he eventually landed the spot as their drummer.
In this episode, Lana talks with Mike about his love for the drums at an early age thanks to his father, Joe Sr., his father and grandfather's inspiration behind The Cowboy Drummer, drug addiction and his path to sobriety, manifesting and chasing your dreams, and more.

From elements of Latin, ska, rock, pop, saxophone, and piano just to name a few, Young and Stanton take listeners on a musical journey with their first LP together.

On 2/18/22, they dropped their new album entitled See Where The Night Goes. One week after its release, See Where The Night Goes was the #20 Official German Album on the German charts, as well as the #1 Rock Album and #33 Top 40 Album on the Great Britain charts.
In this episode, Tyler talks with Mike about his earliest influences on the guitar, how his brother Shane's death motivated him to chase his dreams in music, making See Where The Night Goes during the pandemic, and more.

Melotika is a Canadian pop artist with an affinity for the 80s whose sound can be described as new-retro/electropop. In 2018, she released her debut album Unaware. In 2021, she dropped her Dancing Without You EP.
With an authentic sound, heartfelt lyrics and creative music videos, Melotika continues to connect with fans around the globe. On February 25th, she dropped her latest single entitled "Digital Dreams," which has already amassed nearly 14,000 Spotify streams. The accompanying music video also has over 5,200 views on YouTube.
In this conversation, Melotika talks with Mike about her earliest musical memories, the challenges she's faced from the time she was a youth in chasing her dream, becoming Melotika, meeting and falling in love with her boyfriend and fellow Canadian musical artist Krosst Out, her latest single "Digital Dreams," and more.

Comprised of Adam Whitener (lead guitar), Matt Eble (lead vocals), Naveed Ajam (rhythm guitar), Ben Merte (bass) and Anthony DeMartinis (drums), Lake Mosaic is a band based in the Ann Arbor, Michigan area that describes its genre-blending sound as Midwest Easycore.
Fusing elements of pop-punk, easycore and Midwest emo, Lake Mosaic dropped its debut full-length album entitled Perseverance on February 11th. With a combination of outstanding musicianship and heartfelt lyrics that deal with themes of healing, emotional trauma, recovery and self-determination, Perseverance is a cohesive, nine-track debut that takes listeners on a trip from start to finish.

Based in Pennsylvania, Danny is not only a diehard Philadelphia sports fan, but also a beast of a drummer. He plays drums in Advocaat and Homemade Ski Mask, bands both rooted in punk, but with completely different vibes and musical styles.
Inspired by MF DOOM, Danny wanted to collaborate with different songwriters and create multiple musical projects under different names, which led to the birth of Big Eleanor Records. In 2021 alone, Advocaat's Dark Patterns EP, Homemade Ski Mask's Redballbluechicago EP, and Shaw Calhoune's MARIANA EP all released under the Big Eleanor Records imprint, in addition to a pair of skate decks.
In this episode, Danny talks with Mike about how he got into punk music, his ability and work ethic behind the drum kit, the impetus for starting Big Eleanor Records, the importance of educators, and more.
