On this episode of March Forth with Mike Bauman, Mike chats with Steven Aripez!
Steven is an independent filmmaker whose love for movies dates back to his childhood. In July, Steven held the first screening of his full-length horror film entitled "The Director's Cut," which he wrote, produced, directed and edited. Inspired in part by the style of movies like "Clerks" from Kevin Smith, "The Director's Cut" is a hangout murder mystery set in a video store.
In this episode, Steven talks with Mike about his early love for film and cinema, being inspired to pursue film after watching the special features of Zach Braff's "Garden State," their shared love for horror movies, making "The Director's Cut," persevering as an independent filmmaker, the lessons he's learned along the way, and more.
