On this episode of March Forth with Mike Bauman, Mike chats with In Shallows!
Comprised of Bobby Wharton (guitar), Colin Trombley (vocals), Nick Keane (drums) and Cam Bostwick (bass, clean vocals), In Shallows is a metalcore band based in Keene, New Hampshire. Formed in December, 2019, the band just released their debut EP entitled Beneath The Surface on October 29th of this year.
Recorded at Hell Here Studios with Saving Vice guitarist Robbie Litchfield, In Shallows shows heavy music fans that they're a force to be reckoned with on Beneath The Surface. From tackling mental health in their lyrics, to their ability to alternate between Trombley's hardcore vocals and Bostwick's clean choruses, In Shallows' first EP represents a cohesive and cathartic metalcore record that should definitely intrigue fans of the genre.
In this episode, Mike speaks with In Shallows about how they got into heavy music, their formation, working with Robbie Litchfield on Beneath The Surface, putting together their music videos, tackling mental health in their lyrics, and more.
This episode of March Forth with Mike Bauman also features the song "Life On Lease" off In Shallows' Beneath The Surface, available where you get your music!
