On this episode of March Forth with Mike Bauman, Mike chats with UA The Duo!
Originally from Southern California, the Utah-based UA The Duo is a hip hop tandem of brothers Wallace and Slow-Mo. Together since 2014, UA The Duo have lived up to the ambition in their name (UA is short for "Underground Ambitionz") with their releases over the years.
From collaborations with the likes of Crunchy Black, Skippa Da Flippa, songwriter SPEAKZ and XXL Freshman Jarren Benton, to their 2020 album Bud Brothaz, to numerous singles and music videos, UA The Duo has put in the work over the past seven years as an underground force to be reckoned with. The pair has shown no signs of slowing down in 2021, either. In September 2021 alone, UA The Duo dropped four new singles with four new music videos.
In this episode of the podcast, Wally and Slow-Mo of UA The Duo talk to Mike about their musical lineage, how they got into rap, the wide variety of their influences, Wally's inspiring trip to Mexico City, their trip to Chicago to collaborate with the aforementioned Crunchy Black on "Kodak," and more.
This episode of March Forth with Mike Bauman also features UA The Duo's latest single "Rollin Loud!" Watch the official music video for "Rollin Loud" here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jaeg37L1hj0.
