Hailing from West Philadelphia, King Shampz is a hip hop artist and CEO of Dead Wrong Records, a label which he started with his brother and producer Azzan. In December 2020, they dropped the LP Dawn of the Dead on the Dead Wrong Records imprint, which also features DJ Wreck 1, Frio, Rxdiio Rxh, Def Soulja, Pretty Bulli and Blak.

In this episode, King Shampz talks with Mike about growing up in a musically diverse household, Philadelphia's rich hip hop history, the West Philly environment and how it shaped him, learning from his mistakes and turning his life around, Dead Wrong Records, and more.
