Comprised of McGregor (guitar), Matty Mullins (vocals), Cory Elder (bass) and Jake Garland (drums), Memphis May Fire has been a metalcore mainstay since 2007. Having released six full-length albums since 2009 - the latest being 2018's Broken - the band dropped their first single of 2021 on June 4th. Entitled "Blood & Water," that single has already amassed more than 2.2 million streams on Spotify.
On this episode of the podcast, Kellen talks with Mike about starting out on the drums when he was young, the success of "Blood & Water," persevering as a songwriter and producer, not letting giving up become part of his mindset, new Memphis May Fire music, and more.
