On episode 214 of March Forth with Mike Bauman, Mike chats with Nadia Vaeh!
Originally from Atlanta, Nadia is a Nashville-based artist who is trailblazing a sound she calls "poptimistic-rock." A staunch mental health advocate, Nadia has transmuted the darkness she's encountered in life into her music. Over the years, she's built a fan base through that authenticity, as well as her unique blend of pop-punk, emo, alternative, and indie rock.
With a catalog that includes everything from covers of Nirvana, Lizzo, and Billie Eilish, to the introspective mood of "Anxiety," the playful nature of "a nOOd.," or the reflective vibe on her latest single "Honeysuckles," Nadia has an awesome range as a vocalist and singer-songwriter.
In this episode, Nadia chats with Mike about her early love for music, including her Mom's positive influence with poetry, turning negatives into positives, finding her confidence and voice as a performer, working with her partner and producer Tyler, the fun and creativity that go into her music videos, mental health advocacy, persevering through dark times, relocating to Nashville, and more.
This episode also features the aforementioned "Honeysuckles" from Nadia Vaeh, available where you get your music!
