On this episode of March Forth with Mike Bauman, Mike chats with Rad Stacey!
Hailing from Phoenix, Arizona, Rad Stacey is an easycore/pop punk band that formed in 2020.
With collective experience from other bands in the scene, Rad Stacey's formation brought together a combination of high energy beats, hook-laden vocals, crunchy riffs, and major key writing for their own unique blend of easycore, pop punk, and hard rock. After releasing their inaugural EP entitled Shhh Tell 'Em All in 2020, Rad Stacey has continued to build their name through additional singles and live shows.
On November 18th, Rad Stacey dropped their new EP Vibe Rider. From the uplifting heartbreak anthem opener "This Isn't Tennis," to the heartfelt closer "Sm!le," Vibe Rider showcases Rad Stacey's versatility as a band that can perform meaningful, fun, and high energy songs.
In this episode, Alijah, Joey, and Ian of Rad Stacey speak with Mike about their musical beginnings, the formation of Rad Stacey, the meaning behind "This Isn't Tennis" and "Sm!le," the production and sound they were going for on Vibe Rider, men's mental health, perseverance through difficult times, and more.
