Breakskie from Bauman's Breakdown

Hey everybody! I apologize for the delay the past few weeks. It's been pretty busy to say the least, so please allow me to help you catch up. Over the past three years since graduating from college, I've been working very hard to put myself in a position to be successful. To me, success is not solely about material gain. It never has been for me. For me, success is the culmination and combination of these three things working together harmoniously: love of  God, love of family (including friends) and stability of career. With that in mind, my goal since graduating has been to compile various work experience in the things I've enjoyed-journalism, sports, music-and venture into new territory to challenge myself and make myself a stronger and more successful human being. So I got into broadcasting, started writing music features, and eventually started this podcast out of my love for music and sharing stories with others. It's been a great ride, and I've learned a lot and had a lot of fun. That being said, all that experience has led me to where I am today. Over the past year, I've really been trying to find a more stable path that would allow me to improve my life and my happiness moving forward. After lots of praying, searching and continuing to work hard, I landed a great job at a local online marketing company. I just started this week, and so far it's been awesome. Not to get preachy, but mere words cannot explain the depth of gratitude I have for God and what I've been blessed with in my life. Getting the opportunity to be at a growing company where I'm working with great people who are helping me grow is awesome, and to be able to do it in my hometown surrounded with many of the people I love and care about is just icing on the cake. All of that brings me to this. To start this podcast out of nothing more than a passion to share these stories from musicians with the world and watch it develop an audience and consistent listeners is, again, beyond words. I am infinitely thankful for all of you for listening, whether you checked out the show once or came back every week. And, I hope that the interviews and entertainment (er, myself and Mike Jameson's definition of entertainment) has been something that has impacted you in a positive way. My gameplan moving forward is to take a break from the show while I'm getting acclimated in my new career path. Jameson also recently has taken a new direction in his career, so when we're able to record and upload shows is going to change from the previous format of a new show every Friday (except on a few occasions when we had technical difficulties) to a new day that works for both of us based on our schedules. My top career priority right now is learning my new career and working as hard as I can in my new position to help my company and the businesses we're working with to succeed. As time goes on and I get more comfortable with how to manage everything, Bauman's Breakdown will be back. In the meantime, the show is not dead! In fact, I want to bring this thing full circle and re-upload the first edition of Bauman's Breakdown, which featured an interview I got to do with Korn drummer Ray Luzier in the beginning of 2012. It's an oldie but a goodie. I had to delete several of the earlier shows due to reaching my maximum space allowed (based on KB or MB or something like that) once we got up into the 20's as far as show numbers. My gameplan is to reload other archived shows as well until time allows for Mike and I to bring you new content again. In closing, once again, Thank You. From the bottom of my heart, I am incredibly grateful for your support in helping Bauman's Breakdown grow. And remember: this podcast is not dead! Mike and I will return when the time is right.
